On July 4, the MIESCOR team, led by Chairman Ferdinand Geluz and President & CEO Richard Ochava, met with the Negros Power leadership team headed by Mr. Bailey del Castillo for a productive, future-focused discussion on utility transformation.

A key highlight of the exchange was MIESCOR’s proposed Utility Attachment Management (UAM) Business Process Outsourcing model—a solution shaped by Meralco’s real-world experience in resolving tangled and unsafe wire configurations. This model provides a proactive framework aimed at enhancing public safety, streamlining utility operations, and unlocking new efficiencies.
