
Miescor Group bagged numerous safety and health excellence awards from the Safety and Health Association of the Philippines Energy Sector, Inc. (SHAPES) during its 18
th Energy Safety, Health, and Environment Conference and from the Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc. in its 54th National Industrial Safety Virtual Conference.
Recognized for its outstanding records, MIESCOR received a Bronze Award for its Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD2) Project for attaining 2 years or 3 million manhours without Lost Time Accidents (LTA) and Basic Category Award for 9 projects for completing 1 year with zero LTA.
Moreover, Miescor Builders, Inc. accepted a Silver Award for having zero LTA, 6.6 million safe manhours and no pending violation with DOLE OSH Department Order 198.
Other awards given were an Award of Honor, handed to Utility Attachment Management (UAM) Business Unit for achieving over 3 million safe manhours; an Award of Distinction, given to MIESCOR – Head Office for having more than 6 million safe manhours; and Perfect Safety Record for MIESCOR – Head Office, Logistics Management, UAM Business Unit and 5 other projects.
These awards are testaments to the company’s commitment to quality and safety.
