MIESCOR launches the Power Builders Cadetship Program
Last July 16, MIESCOR launched its pioneering batch of the Power Builders Cadetship Program for high-potential, fresh graduates of Electrical and Civil Engineering. The MIESCOR Power Builders is a 5-month accelerated competency enhancement program designed to develop the cadets to become the next generation professionals and leaders of the organization.

Through an extensive hiring process, only 16 cadets were selected among almost a hundred applicants. The pioneering batch consists of 9 Electrical Engineers and 7 Civil Engineers, majority of which graduated top of their class and have been involved in extracurricular activities as student body leaders or officers.

What makes the Power Builders Program unique is the opportunity to experience not only a single aspect of the business, but also the different core and emerging businesses such as Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC), Telecommunications, Tower Infrastructure, and Distribution Services (Power Industry). Through technical trainings, hands-on experience, and the mentorship of industry leaders, the cadets can gain a holistic view of MIESCOR.

To quote Mr. Ronnie L. Aperocho , President & CEO of MIESCOR, “Unlike other cadetship programs, in MIESCOR the cadets will see the end-to-end functions of each discipline, which will allow for an even more accelerated development”.

The cadets’ development in the technical aspect is also supplemented with management and professional development courses to aid in their transition from student leaders to future industry leaders.

As the program runs its course until December 2021, MIESCOR looks forward to continue building the foundation for a bright future for both the cadets and the organization.
