MIESCOR and its Project Management team conducted a clean-up drive at South Poblacion Seaside, Naga City, Cebu last November 22, 2019. It was a joint effort of MIESCOR, and the City of Naga done in close coordination with the City Administrator, Engineer Arthur S. Villamor.

Thirty MIESCOR employees participated in the clean-up activity which covered 1,000 meters of the shore. They are members of the team working on MIESCOR’s Naga (Visayas) Substation Upgrading Project. An ongoing project for National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) target for completion on December 2020.

The activity commenced with a short reminder by NGCP Naga (Visayas) Substation Upgrading Project Manager Mr. Joseph V. Lomboy on the importance of good housekeeping, proper waste segregation, and environment preservation. As an expression of gratitude, Naga City presented a Certificate of Participation, duly signed by Engr. Villamor, to all participants of the activity.
