Electrician

The Electrician (Building/Industrial) installs, repairs and maintain electrical equipment and accessories, electrical appliances and lighting fixtures, install conduits, cable trays, ducts and hangers; runs wires, power cables or control cables in conduits or on tray or ducts; operates electrical construction equipment; assists foreman in the preparation of installation details.

  • Repairs, test, troubleshoots, installs and maintains electrical equipment and accessories such as motors, circuit breakers, magnetic starters, magnetic coils, etc.
  • Inspects, repairs and maintains electrical appliances such as airconditioning units, water coolers and heaters, etc. 
  • Runs wires, power cables or controls cable in conduit or on tray and ducts.
  • Terminates wires or cables at junction boxes, terminal boxes, circuit breakers, control panels, electrical machineries and apparatus if required. 
  • Installs and maintains lighting systems such as bulb sockets, light switches, convenient outlets, switch boxes, lamps, etc. 
  • May install generator and accessories is necessary.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
  • At least High School or Vocational course graduate. 
  • Preferably TESDA Certificate II. 
  • At least 2 years of work experience as Electrician in Construction, Building, Power Plant, Substation. 
  • Physically Fit.
