Technicians install, test and repair communications and data communications systems, such as: fixed-line and mobile telephony networks, copper wire and fiber-optic cabling, analogue and digital satellite systems and wireless radio networks providing internet access via PCs, mobile phones.

  • Plans network installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, assessing installation site; preparing an installation diagram.
  • Install fixed and wireless network equipment and set up new telecommunications services.
  • Install and maintain telecommunication and other data systems at customers' premises.
  • Install, test and maintain all types of telecommunications, switching and transmission equipment.
  • Carry out modifications to items of equipment.
  • Analyze system faults with a high degree of diagnostic skill (to circuit board level).
  • Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and complete appropriate documentation.
  • Take responsibility for tools, and plant and test equipment.
  • Develop and maintain good relations with internal and external customers.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
  • At least Vocational or High School graduate
  • NC II Certification is an advantage
  • Preferably with working knowledge in phone systems, computers, smart phones/tablets and internet connections
  • NC II Certification is an advantage
  • Excellent Customer Relations Skills
  • Must not be afraid of heights
  • Having a Driver’s License (Restrictions 2 & 3) is an advantage
  • Work location: NCR, CAMANAVA and Laguna areas
