This position will be a hands on leader in building aerial and underground fiber optic outside plant. Responsibilities includes heavy equipment operation, trenching, directional boring, utility pole framing and cable installation

  • Lead and supervise a fiber construction crew to ensure that construction is completed in accordance with the customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on projects are working safely and productively.
  • Provide on the job training for employees working under your direction on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Perform daily field inspection of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
  • Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate “as-built maps” for areas built.
  • Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
  • Able to perform physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shifts.
  • Provide verifiable evidence of experience in fiber construction field and prior supervisory experience in construction or related field.
  • Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approved recorded production for billing purposes.
  • Place conduits and or cables in trenches and or cables in poles, splice conduit sections, place anchors, pedestal vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
  • At least Vocational graduate
  • Preferably with working knowledge in Telecommunication
  • At least two (2) years experienced in OSP & CATV works.
  • NC II Certification is an advantage
  • Excellent Customer Relations Skills
  • Having a Driver’s License (Restrictions 2 & 3) is an advantage
  • Work location: NCR, Bulacan and Laguna areas
